I first came across Naturopathy 20 years ago, when searching for the answers to my own family’s health problems. The life changing results inspired me to start a new career, as a Naturopath.
In 2007 I qualified as a Naturopath, Herbalist and Nutritional Therapist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, following four years of study.
Naturopathy is based on the healing power of nature. It uses positive lifestyle choices, natural medicines and non-invasive techniques to activate the bodies own innate healing mechanisms to heal itself.
I firmly believe the everyday choices we make are the most important factors in determining our health and wellbeing and use a holistic integrated approach to helping individuals restore, maintain and optimise their health and vitality.
As a naturopath, I aim to teach clients to understand the underlying causes for their conditions; empowering them to take charge of their own health. I have a particular interest in helping those with chronic health conditions by strengthening their bodies to alleviate symptoms.
Naturopathy can help a wide range of conditions from low energy, constantly getting colds, skin problems, and allergies, to more chronic conditions such as M.E, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Sclerosis.
Naturopathy does not provide ‘cures’. It works alongside conventional medicine, in a complementary fashion to maximise an individual’s health.
I am a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), The United Register of Herbal Practitioners (URHP) and the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and fully insured to practice.
